A luxurious beach estate, overlooking the Perfect Surf. This amazing, newly renovated house is the coolest house in Santa Teresa. Oozing elegance and chic - it is at the same time very relaxed, comfortable and extremely beautiful.

Whether you are having a massage on one of our beach ranchos, relaxing by the pool with an ice-cold drink, snoozing in one of our many hammocks or simply being, you are in paradise. Casa Capitan comes with 2 full-time maids who make your beds, change your linen and towels, wash your clothes and turn down your beds at night lighting candles and decorating with flowers. Our staff also includes caretakers and helpers living on the land who sweep the path to the beach and around the pool every day and make sure you have fresh coconut water and mangoes when in season. They also look after the horses, saddling them should you wish to ride on the beach at sunset, an unforgettable experience. We have an administrator who comes daily, to ensure that all runs smoothly. At night, there is a security guard who patrols the land and guard dogs. Our staff is here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, they are here if you need them, not if you do not, they are aware of your need for tranquility, and have privacy and peace and quiet.

Our beds have high quality pillows and mattresses, our sheets are Egyptian Cotton of a high thread count. You will have everything you need and wish for, the ultimate luxurious experience in barefoot elegance. We serve Continental breakfast every day - fruit salad, toast, tea and/or coffee. It is made and then left in the kitchen for you to have at your own leisure. This is included in the price.

We are on the Northern most exclusive part of Santa Teresa beach where the Surf is fantastic. Join the surfers or just sit on the beach and watch them perform. The beach in front of the Estate is absolutely beautiful, pristine white sand that goes on forever, leaning trees - therefore lots of shaded areas and wildlife. You may wish to fill your days with activities or simply spend it relaxing in hammocks, by the pool or just lying on one of our many beds under thatched roofs, watching the sunset. There are canopy tours, butterfly farms and wonderful Restaurants nearby. Lots of different fishing spots, either you can go straight out on to the beach, alternatively there are river mouths where people seem to catch fish, you can go Lobster fishing or you can rent a boat from the local fishermen who will also take you out for an hourly fee. With a bit of luck, you will come home with lots of tuna, mahi mahi, mackerel to barbecue and/or have a bonfire on the beach.

The best restaurant in Santa Teresa, Tres, is a short walk away. The new, magnificent Spa at FlorBlanca is also a short walk away as is Milarepa, both serve delicious food for lunch and supper. Although most of our guests do not wish to leave the pool, the beach, get dressed and go out for lunch. Therefore, if you need a chef or meals prepared daily this can be arranged.

The best surf instructor in this area is Mick, we are very lucky to have him on board. He takes our guests out on an adventure which involves: looking for that perfect, secret wave, bathing under the waterfalls and ending up in the picturesque village Montezuma at Playa de las Artistas, they say the best Restaurant in Costa Rica - owned by an Italian woman called Daniela, nestling in a coconut grove on the beach with the sea lapping at your feet, is truly a feast for all the senses.

Casa Capitan has a very intimate and cozy feeling at the same time it can hold large groups. Casa Capitan and Casa Java are side by side to each other, facing the beach. They are separated enough to give utmost privacy, each have their own pool, kitchen and entrance gates. They complement each other perfectly and one group can stay together in both houses, without feeling separated.
