Most relaxing holiday ever !!!

We had a large family reunion at the Villa and we had a marvelous time. The large wonderfully groomed grounds were fantastic for the kids to run around, the big pool was fantastic to splash around and the separate villas guaranteed a good night sleep for every one. And the best of all was the delicious food prepared by the friendly chef and served by the most dedicated staff we have every experienced. We'll be back.

Fiftieth birthday weekend

The staff at Villa Samadhana were wonderful and made an excellent weekend of friends and relaxation so much better. The food was delicious and the service always accommodating. The property was vast and lovely and our master bedroom really splendid. I loved the pool, the garden and the living areas. I would say however that some of the rooms could do with an update. The curtains in some were starting to perish, and some of the fittings and linen (towels and pool lounge covers) looked a bit tired. Also we had not been aware in advance that two of the rooms shared a bathroom; fine for families, not as good for singles who travelled a long way to join us. Overall we loved this place and we had a truly great weekend there. Renewing the linen and fittings, revarnishing the pool deck, would go a long way to resolving a few niggling issues. Thanks for a fab stay

Christmas In Paradise

An absolutely beautiful place to spend Christmas. Not too far from Sanur but far enough to feel you were in your own oasis. Service was outstanding without being in your face and the food was so good we changed our itinerary so we could eat in every night The photos cannot show the actual size and spaciousness of this villa. Tranquil retreat & amazing wedding villa

We stayed at Villa Samadana for a total of 3 nights/ 4 days in late Sept 2016 for our wedding. Upon checking in, the villa manager was informative, friendly & assisted us with my questions. I have no words to truly describe how amazing, jaw dropping, beautiful, tranquil & relaxing this villa is. The photos do not do it justice in the sense of the villa & it's amazing facilities. The villa is classy, rustic, relaxing & comfortably laid out. We chose this villa as the location of villas/ rooms allowed for everyone's privacy, comfort & ability to do our own things or join in with each other. All properties, gardens, pool, relaxing area & just everything was perfectly maintained the entirety of our stay. They were very accommodating for our wedding & our wedding guests. If I could do our trip over again, I would only change 1 thing - stay there longer. All staff were extremely friendly & accommodating as well. My mother feels as though she has a second family there now. If you have concerns about the food, don't; the food is fantastic as well. We had some amazing massages to relax the day after our wedding which was worth paying that bit extra compared to the street massages. All in all this villa, staff, service, location is devine & I would not hesitate in staying with them again. Thank you villa samadana for a stay we will never forget.

Absolutely the place to stay if your in Bali

Having been to Bali on many occasions in the past we made the decision to rent a villa rather than all our family staying a hotel. We made the right choice in Villa Samadhana it is in the perfect location within easy reach of Sanur but far enough away to have have the piece and quiet you want while on vacation. The whole villa complex is perfectly laid out with accommodation being to highest standard. The communal areas are perfect with the lounge and dining areas centrally located with a pool, bar and pool table very close by. The key high light of the villa was the friendly staff who would do anything for you with 14 in total. All menus are cooked on site with both chiefs cooking up a treat each day from a menu that would suit all Asian and Western tastes. You pay as you go for food and the butler makes sure all orders for food and beverages are in for the day at breakfast. We will go back it was a delight to stay in such a wonderful place.

Fabulous Pool in Remote Location

Villa Samadhana has beautiful grounds and the property has a spectacular 25metre pool with great debth and childrens play area and was delightful to laze our time away. We felt totally relaxed and loved our 3 nights here with 8 adults and 3 babies in this huge Villa. The staff looked after us really well and were very kind with the children. This is a very quiet Villa and about 20 minutes drive from Sanur but the chef here is superb so you don't need to go out as he prepared us top quality dishes every meal. The seafood bbq was spectacular on our last night.

We had the pleasure of styaing at the Villa for 6 nights as a way of celebrating our 30th Anniversary. There were 10 of us and everyone single one of us will now rate all holidays against our experience at the Villa. We were treated like Kings and Queens. The property was eveything that we wanted and then some. Before leaving to go to Bali some friends asked me why I wanted to go to Bali AGAIN. Will this Villa is the reason why. It was amazing value for money and we also ate the majority of our meals onsite. The staff were engaging and friendly, we wanted to bring some of them home with us (Putu and Krishna). Our time here will always be a fabulous memory. Booked thru Cantik Balli villas who were very helpful and had good prices.

Amazing stay at an amazing villa

Cannot recommend this Villa enough. All the staff were simply amazing. So kind and helpful, we stayed for two weeks. they with my partner arranged a surprise brithday dinner for me and decorated the pool area, and there was a huge feast it was stunning. We ate mostly inside the villa and the food was excellent. If you are thinking about staying here just do it! You will not regret it.

Stunning blissful stay

My friends and I had a brilliant stay at this stunning villa, with immaculate gardens and sprawling lawns set away from the craziness of Kuta, providing a relaxing haven. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food excellent! The rooms and living spaces were perfect for all types of weather and the pool being the stunning jewel of whole villa. An absolute joy to stay in, we really didn't want to leave.

Location

Villa Samadhana is located in the sleepy seaside village of Ketewel, 13 kilometres from Sanur along Bali's south-east coast. The villa is hidden behing coral-limestone walls a few hundred metres from the glistening black shores of Pabean Beach. From the villa, guests can enjoy the breathtaking ocean views as well as glimpses of Mount Agung in the distance. Surrounded by rice fields, tobacco plantations, papaya, banana and coconut groves, the villa enjoys a very traditional setting which is untouched by tourism. At the same time, the villa is only a ten-minute drive to Sukawati's art and craft market, fifteen minutes to the cafes and restaurants of Sanur and 30 minutes to the cultural capital of Ubud.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

Payment:
When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to EH within 5 working days of availability confirmation. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, EH reserves the right to void the Guest’s booking request. The following deposit payment applicable to most villas (see individual villa terms for full details) must be received by EH:
For villas in Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka:
For rentals beginning more than 75 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 75 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 20% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 80% balance not less than 75 days before the scheduled arrival date.
For all other countries:
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Modern luxury villa with stunning oceanviews

Designed by one of Asia's top architects, Villa Samadhana combines modern luxury with traditional elegance to create a sophisticated sanctuary perfect for weddings, special events or a peaceful family retreat. It is set amongst sprawling lawns and exotic tropical gardens. This expansive villa features five luxurious bedrooms, an open-sided living and dining pavilion, restaurant-grade kitchen, entertainment lounge, 25-metre lap pool and a full complement of staff. The residence has large open-air living to enable guests to freely enjoy the balmy Balinese climate, inhale the intoxicating tropical environs. The living area also includes a spacious restaurant-grade kitchen.

Villa Samadhana has five bedrooms. The master suite is housed in its own pavilion separated from the living and dining area. The brightly decorated air-conditioned guest rooms are located in a separate structure adjacent to the dining area. These have been designed for children but can easily accommodate adults. One of the rooms has a queen-size bed with large flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player, while the other has twin beds and a small outdoor balcony surrounded by a lily pond. A corridor with built-in wardrobes connects the two rooms as well as providing access to the shared bathroom. Featuring an indoor terrazzo bathtub and walk-in shower, the bathroom also has an outdoor shower. Both rooms open onto a shared wooden deck with a daybed for relaxing.

Fifty metres from the main house rests Villa Samadhana's two-bedroom guesthouse. Both the rooms are air-conditioned and feature queen-sized beds. Both of them have garden bathrooms with indoor shower and glass sliding doors that open onto a wooden deck bordering the immaculately manicured lawns. One of the bedrooms has a window seat to soak up the sun while the other has a daybed for those inclined to take an afternoon nap. Between the two bedrooms is a small living area with a self-contained kitchen and breakfast bar with bar stools.The landscaped garden has been designed by one of Bali's best landscape architects and is one of the main highlights of the villa.
