RELAX IN LUXURY, WITH STUNNING SURROUNDINGS

Lom Choi Villa is a stunning retreat, perfectly situated for those who just wish to kick back and relax in the lovely vegetation and pool, and for those who want to explore the surrounding beach delights. The fact that the villa stands on a hill overlooking the beach means that not only do you enjoy views of the bay, but also provides a slight breeze which makes the summer temperatures a little more bearable. The villa is very clean and well equipped with all the needed amenities, and daily cleaning is efficient and carried out fast by 2 maids who are very helpful and friendly. A true slice of paradise which we highly recommended to all..

Lom Choi Villa Tong Nai Pan Noi.

We stayed for two weeks, with our teenage daughters - guess who slept in the main house? - of course the girls, although this worked really well - the girls had their own privacy and we had ours - the double bedroom with the open to the elements bathroom! was not actually really open to the elements - it had mesh - on the vented windows, so was really very pleasant, the air from the jungle surroundings could circulate. Both bedrooms had air con and the main house lounge had over head fans - the balconies all around the main house were really useful and the large sliding doors onto them meant we felt part of the surroundings most of the time. The natural flora and fauna was beautiful and the bird watching excellent. The swimming pool was larger than it looked in the photos and was perfect for an early morning, mid day or night time plunge. With sun almost all day and adequate shade if needed. The self catering facilities were good and it meant that we were able to eat in when we wanted or chose from many of the restaurants along the beachfront or in the village if we didn't fancy staying in. The beach was a short but steep walk from the villa, but not unpleasant. The young couple who came to keep the house clean and stocked up for us were very sweet and we had an easy, good relationship with them during our stay. Ian has built a really good property, with modern designer details, that were easy to live with. We would recommend this house for Couples sharing or families with older children - we even had guests for a couple of nights and there was ample space to accommodate us all. Looking forward to going again soon - well asap actually : ).

Oase der Ruhe

Das Haus ist schön ausgestattet - in der Küche ist alles vorhanden - außer Mikrowelle. Wenn man die Ruhe liebt, ist dies die richtige Wahl. Nettes Hausmeister-Ehepaar. Am Pool fehlt ein Sonnenschirm zum Schatten spenden. Mit kleinen Kindern kann man das Haus nur empfehlen, wenn man ein Auto (mit Allrad-Antrieb) zur Verfügung hat. Der Weg hinunter zum Strand/Ort ist eine echte Herausforderung für Menschen, die nicht so gut zu Fuß sind. Die Sandstraße ist teilweise sehr steil und holperig und nachts unbeleuchtet. Man geht ca. 15- 20 Min. hinunter - hinauf länger. Die mitgebrachte Kinderkarre konnten wir auf dieser Straße nicht benutzen.

Facts

For this review I think its fair just to stick to the facts and not offer an opinion. Access to this property is not possible by car, it is at least 1km round trip to the nearest road, because of the gradient it would be very difficult to carry any supplies back from he shops. We stayed for five nights as a family of five, on arrival we discovered the pool to be cloudy and dirty, not suitable for use, I mentioned it to one of the staff and he said it was due to the rain, I suggested he turned the pump on and add some pool cleaner.....sadly it was not suitable for use until day four of our stay. We also discovered that in the short time it had taken to unpack our clothes, food that we had bought was covered in ants on the kitchen top, we are use to ants but this was something else as all the food had to be thrown away. The water cooler and bottles were all empty, not usually a problem but because of the location it was not possible to carry bottles of water 1/2km up a hill everyday. The property did not have air conditioning in the main house living and kitchen area this was a big problem. The Internet was not available for a couple of days. The house did not have hot water, the water heaters were broken but it did not seem to bother the cockroaches in both showers. I did email the property manager with my concerns and he did visit and offered an apology. To finish, if it was offered for free I would not stay there again, a total waste of my time.

Cancellation Policy

* 30% deposit is non refundable.

* Within 4 weeks of arrival date payment forfeited - but credited for 9 month from the date of the cancellation confirmation by The Manager's reservation department. The credit can be used by the client or anyone on their behalf for a reservation for the same villa and during the same seasonal period.

* Although it is unlikely that the owner will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, it does occasionally happen, and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to provide you with the property booked, the owner shall reserve the right to cancel the reservation. For example, if the properties are damaged or rendered unusable the owner will try to locate an alternative property for the period required. However, if this is not possible, or you do not wish to be transferred, the owner will cancel the booking and refund you in full.

* The owner shall not be liable for any further obligations or claims by you above the amount paid by you.

Insurance
* It is a condition of the booking that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). The Owner is not responsible to the Guests and their party for any and all claims including any accidents related to the use of the property facilities or locally procured third party services such as, watercraft, water sports, jeep or motor bike rental etc.

Payment Terms

Deposit
An initial deposit of 30% of the property rental must be paid to confirm a booking. No contract will exist until receipt of payment and the completed booking form has been received and accepted by the owner. If payment has not been received within 7 banking days the owner will presume that you have cancelled the reservation. Your reservation will be confirmed upon payment of such deposit.

Balance Payment
Balance payment is due four weeks prior to travel payable by bank transfer.
All deposit payments can be made by credit / debit card.
30% deposit is non refundable
All major credit and debit cards accepted (5% surcharge applies)

Last Minute Booking
If the booking is made within four weeks of the arrival date, 100% of the cost of the rental shall be due at the time of booking

Exclusions & Additional Charges
* Renter agrees to pay the owner for the cost of repairing or replacing (solely at the owner's discretion) any item of property, or contents at the Villa which is damaged due to negligence or willful default of the renter during the renter's occupation, or which is missing.
* The person in whose name the booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named, and becomes responsible to the owner for all payments in respect of the booking.

Meaning "gentle breeze" in Thai, Lom Choi Villa is set in the foothills rising from Thong Nai Pan Noi beach, where cool sea breezes fan the rich tropical rainforest. It enjoys breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding hills.

Built on 1,600 sq. m of private land, among lovingly preserved indigenous trees and lush gardens, the property's two-storey main building, pavilion bedroom, pool deck, and coffee terrace are arranged on multiple levels around a spectacular outcrop of huge granite boulders, and linked together by pathways and high quality hardwood decking that are elegantly lit at night. With sun-bleached finishes, and accents of wood and natural rock, this exceptional villa is in perfect harmony with the environment, offering a unique serenity and privacy.

The main building looks out to the sea through floor-to-ceiling glass doors set in hardwood, and opens onto spacious verandas on three sides - just the place to remember how good it is to be in the world! Below the pavilion bedroom, with a border of mighty granite boulders, is the stunning infinity pool and pool deck, equipped with loungers for sunbathing or lazing under shade.
