Amazing, would totally recommend

Myself, my partner and 6 of our friends came to Bobs villa for 6 nights. We were so surprised how beautiful it was. Bob had a taxi bus waiting on us from the airport which meant no waiting around. We were then met by Bob - who couldn’t have been any friendlier and kinder! The villa was stunning and so clean. Having the taxi service was an added bonus and made things so much easier for us, Bau was our driver and he was lovely. The pool and BBQ was really good. We were not far from the main areas which was really great! The maid came in everyday which was great. Would totally recommend. We really enjoyed our stay!! Thanks again

Gorgeous villa, stunning vistas and charming hosts

Sitting in a bar in Chaweng, our luggage piled up around us as we irritably scoured booking websites and the drinks menu simultaneously, we quickly realised that the business of finding somewhere to stay in Koh Samui that satisfied the diverse criteria of being fun, relatively inexpensive and not a hostel was a sterner challenge than expected. Thank god for Thailand’s uniformly free wifi. As the beating midday sun melted our patience as quickly as the ice cubes in our drinks, salvation eventually came in the form of a luxurious hilltop villa, nestled away down the winding backstreets of Koh Samui, a few minutes walk from Bangrak beach. It’s name: Peerapat Villa. The proprietor, an affable Scot by the name of Bob, received a highly unexpected phone call as we attempted to confirm the booking; apparently his wife was still taking up residence there, and bookings were rarely taken at such short notice. Overcoming this minor hurdle, he promptly informed his beloved that she had to shove off for a few days and our path was cleared. Bob, alas, would forever remain a mystery to us; a modern day enigma, a calm, composed voice at the end of the phone. Like the eponymous Charlie from Charlie’s Angels. Only Scottish, and not the titular character of a 1970s TV show. In his stead Bob dispatched his delightfully animated wife who flew round the house like a whirling dervish as she attempted to clear everything away for our arrival. Assuring her that everything was perfect we quickly settled in after briefly jostling for who got the largest of the prodigious en suite bedrooms. The villa itself is one of those places that actually looks as good in real life as it does in the glamorous internet photos which advertise it. Spacious and clean with understated modern furnishings, this secluded paradise boasts an infinity pool, sprawling terrace and a balcony with an almost unrivalled sea view. The plush, generously appointed living areas are ideal for lounging around during the lazy afternoons and for some casual communal drinking in the evenings, with a thumping Bluetooth speaker system and ping pong table providing ample and occasionally messy entertainment. Growing weary of subsisting off a diet chiefly comprised of crisps and pad thai, we sourced an array of seafood from the local market and proudly returned home to cook it on the hulking behemoth of a barbecue in the garden. The villa was cleaned once a day and the hosts also left us with the number of an incredibly obliging young taxi driver who chauffeured a group of borish Brits about the paradisal island with a cheery demeanour and ever-present smile. Even with some pretty heavy duty construction work going on next door for the duration of our stay, it was still a fantastic few days and the villa is certainly highly recommended.

Amazing!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 8 friends. Bob's place was absolutely amazing. The property sits on the end of a quiet road. You will require a taxi to get into the main strip of Ko Samui. The property itself is massive, very spacious and clean inside. The main attraction is the infinity pool with a view of the ocean. If you wake up early enough you'll be able to catch the sunrise, I recommend doing this at least once, it's well worth getting out of bed. Upon arrival, Bob picked us up from a local restaurant as our flight arrived early and we had to kill some time. Once we got to the villa Bob checked us in, gave us a tour of the house and recommended some local eats. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the restaurant that was recommended but it was easily one of the best meals I've had in Thailand. If you stay here, it's a must try! The only drawback is you'll love the villa so much you won't want to leave. We had an amazing time here and I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a place in Ko Samui.

A Fantastic Villa in a stunning location

Our second stay at this fantastic Villa and everything was just as good (or better) than last time. Stunning pool with fantastic views and all located within easy reach of the beach but at the end of a secluded road. We plan to be back soon!

Perfect for Family Getaway

We travelled in March '17 from Singapore and Malaysia as a family of 7 senior citizen (age 57 to 91) and stayed for 3 nights. When we arrived the owners Bob and Jen were extremely helpful and available throughout the stay and helped organize transport and chef for hire. The villa is spectacular with 4 large bedrooms (3 kings + 1 x 2 single), great views to the sea and large outdoor spaces with swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The weather was good without a single drop of rain during our stay there. We loved the Sala next to the pool with good Bluetooth sound system which we played from the mobile and we gathered at the Sala most of the time which was nice and cool even on the hot day. The villa is a little far to walk to the nearest 7-Eleven but that is not a problem that we can always call Mr. Moo (a minibus taxi supply) to anywhere we wanted to go with a reasonable charges. Jen also recommended a chef to cook Thai Lunch for us on the Sunday afternoon which was authentic and very good with a reasonable service charge. The chef even helped us to buy 8kgs of Sticky rice with Mango to bring home and delivered to the villa in the morning before we left for the flight. Thank you Bob, Jen, Mr Moo and the chef who made our first family outing unforgettable. I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone with a party of a maximum of 9 pax.

Location

Peerapat Villa is located in the very heart of the touristic northeast corner of Koh Samui island between the busy tourist towns of Bophut and Chaweng. Nestled into the hillside of Bangrak with stunning views over Bangrak Bay towards nearby Koh Phangan island, the villa sits within a very spacious 1,600sqm plot of family-friendly gardens. Public access to beautiful Bangrak beach is just 1.1km from the villa, easily reachable in 3 minutes driving time or a short 12-15 minute walk. The popular surrounding towns of Chaweng Beach (5.8km) and Bophut’s Fisherman’s Village (3.5km) are within easy reach.

Peerapat Villa offers complete peace, privacy and relaxation in beautiful tropical surroundings yet a very convenient location in one of Koh Samui’s most sought after areas.

Bangrak Beach

Bangrak Beach is located just 1.1km from the villa and the closest public access is opposite the nearby 7-11 store on the beach road next to Ivy Beach Club. This central part of Bangrak beach, between here and the Samui Pier resort, located about 500m to the east, offers the softest sands and best swimming opportunities.

Great places to hang out, drink, eat and relax on the beach include Ivy Beach Club (1.2km from villa), the Secret Garden resort (1.4km) and Samui Pier resort (1.6km) – see photos below or click yellow links for more information.

Nearby Conveniences, Stores and Supermarkets

A local convenience store is just 700m from the villa where you can buy all the basic essentials. If you’re looking for cheap tasty Thai food you can walk along to P. Go’s restaurant 800m away (or you can call and get food delivered). There is also a local laundry shop just 700m away where you can have your clothes cleaned and ironed for around 40 thb per kg.
A 24 hour 7-11 convenience store is 1.1km away, just across the road from the nearest bank and currency exchange. The best place to buy imported foods, alcoholic beverages and the best selections of wine is in Bangrak Minimart 400m along the beach road.
There are several supermarkets; Tesco Lotus, Big C and Makro all within a 10 minute drive in the Bophut and Chaweng areas.

Nearby Restaurants and Bars

Bangrak town offers a huge choice of bars and restaurants stretching from the 7-11 store (1.1km from villa) all the way to Bangrak fresh market (2.7km from the villa). Several recommended (both cheap and mid-range) restaurants are listed in our Local Area Guide.
Surrounding Popular Area: Chaweng, Choeng Mon and Bophut

Chaweng Beach (5.8km) is the most popular and busiest of the main tourist strips on the island. Chaweng offers a huge choice of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and beachfront resorts. The beach offers fine white sands and good swimming with all imaginable conveniences within a short stroll. If you heading to Chaweng for the first time head along to Ark Bar on the beach or the Islander pub, two of Chaweng’s most established venues. After about 10pm, Soi Green Mango is the place to be.

Bophut (3.5km) offers chic Fisherman’s Village and The Wharf beach-side mall. Friday night is Walking Street where the village is closed to traffic and locals set up market stalls selling Thai street food and souvenirs. Both Fisherman’s Village and The Wharf (to the western side of the village) offer a huge choice of chic wining and dining options.

Cheong Mon (5km) is a more peaceful sandy bay and a favorite with locals and tourists alike. The shallow waters make it a favorite for families with children. There are plenty of cafes, bars and beachfront resorts with more lower and medium end dining options than Bophut and Chaweng.

Cancellation Policy

Guests must notify us by email to cancel a booking or any part of a booking. The cancellation will take effect from the day we receive your email and the following cancellation charges will arise:

More than 30 days before arrival date: Deposit amount is forfeited
Within 30 days of arrival: All rental payments are forfeited

The above cancellation charges will also apply if we cancel a booking due to late payment of the balance. Changes to the booking dates may also be treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges may apply. Any changes to original bookings are subject to our approval. All guests must have comprehensive travel insurance which covers accommodation cancellations.

Payment Terms

* A deposit of 50% is required within 5 working days to confirm a booking and no contract is in place until we receive your deposit.
* Payment of the remaining 50% of the balance will be paid by bank transfer at least 28 days before your arrival.

Inside offers a spacious open plan (and fully-equipped) modern kitchen with island and stools and large dining table for eight with full satellite 42" TV entertainment system.

-Check-in time is normally 3pm or later and check-out normally before 12pm though we can be very flexible on this if there is no booking which checks-out/in on same day as your check-in/out.

-To secure an early check-in or late check-out in advance we require a fee of half of 1 night’s rental.
-We do not accept party groups of 17/18 year olds celebrating high school graduation.
