Delightful villa, great location and AMAZING hosts

We just had the most relaxing holidays at Mica's villa. Everything was done to make sure we were having the best time. The villa itself is so beautiful with an open kitchen and living room looking to at the pool. Mica's team are on board regarding the cleanliness of the villa. Lots of little attentions are made for you to feel confortable. Coffee ready in the morning, they help you getting coconut ready... Massages are also available and Mica's wife can give you some Thai cooking lessons. We so enjoy our time there, we are already talking on planning an other trip to this lovely place.

Hard to find, but Great Vila, Great Owner!!

You should definitely accept the owner's offer to pick you up at the ferryport. The Villa is really in the jungle, but close to the sea and next village with a convenience store and every other supply of daily needs. The rooms are a bit dark, but the whole villa is cozy, clean, well maintained and just a wonderful place to relax and spend a good time with a group of 6 to 10 people. Showers and baths are clean and modern (western standard clean, western standard modern) The owner is very supportive and helps you with everything from scooters to fishing trips to food. He is available at all times, but not bothering you. Very relaxed and laid back guy. Even if it was raining the place was fine to kill some hours in the dining or relax area.

Couldn't of asked for a better villa or a better host

Well what can i say this place is outstanding. The place has a great vibe and beautiful surroundings and is perfectly positioned. Stayed here with a few friends and it was the perfect place to chill out and unwind. We stayed here over the christmas period and Mica and his staff were outstanding made us feel right at home and even put up a christmas tree up add a home comfort. Mica goes the extra mile to ensure his guests have the best stay possible. If you book this villa you will not be disappointed.

Awesome is just too underrated!!!

We spent one week in this outstanding villa with 6 people. The whole place has its own flair and character, the open kitchen and living area fit perfectly into the beautiful nature around with its great pool. 100 % privacy is guaranteed. The location could not be better, a lot of individual restaurants and the beach are just few steps away and an excellent point to explore the island. Mica and his staff take care of just everything you desire for a perfect stay, you don't feel like a standard guest or tourist, but rather like a family member!!! Don't miss it guys, you'll not regret it!!!

Beautiful and relaxing

Our experience at Mica's was incredible. The villa itself is beautiful and was the perfect place for the group of us to relax while still enjoying all the island has to offer. Mica is building a second villa right next door that looks every bit as awesome. Mica himself was incredibly helpful with anything we needed and was more accommodating than any other host I have experienced on ABnB. He made our experience on the island more than painless. We had a fantastic time. I cannot wait to make this trip again and will definitely be staying at Mica's. Thank you for a great experience.

Highly recommend this villa!

I stayed at this villa with friends, and the villa was perfect. Mica is extremely helpful and lovely! He goes above and beyond to ensure you get the best out of your stay, and the villa maid was great too. Very trustworthy hosts and the villa does exactly what you need it to too! If you are looking for a villa to stay in in Ko Phangan, I recommend!

Mica was fantastic to deal with - not only did he pick us up from our other accommodation elsewhere on the island, but helped organise car rental and gave us a quick tour of good restaurants and things to do. The accommodation was exactly as detailed in the write-up and pictues and was a beautiful place to relax and spend 5 blissful nights. Thanks Mica for a wonderful stay!

Location

Baan Yai is a huge tropical villa, in Koh Phangan, an island in southeast Thailand, renowned for its monthly Full Moon Party. It is located near the quiet village of Sri Thanu, which is around 10 minutes’ walk away. A stay in the villa puts you close to the boisterous night-long celebrations of the full moon party, which is tied to the lunar calendar and draws travellers to the island. Those looking for some peace and quiet will find a heady dose of serenity in the nearby white-sand beaches, Hat Khuat and Hat Thian.

* Meals
* A refundable security/damage deposit of THB 20,000 will be due on arrival and refunded at departure following a brief inspection of the property
* Transfer from Koh Phangan pier to the villa

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation charges will be applicable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing:

30 days or more before arrival date:
* Deposit forfeited - but credited for 9 months from the date of the cancellation confirmation by the management company. The credit can be used by the client or anyone on their behalf for a reservation for the same villa and during any period.

Within 30 days of arrival date:
* All rental payments are forfeited.
* The above cancellation charges also apply if the management company cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply.
* Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of the management company.
* Early departure penalty will be subject to negotiation with the management company.

Description

Tropical 5 bedroom villa on Koh Pangan

Living areas
The living area of Baan Yai villa has a large sofa area, perfect for relaxing, and a dining table that can seat up to 12 persons. There is also an air-conditioned TV room with a 50’ screen and large king size sofa that can be used to accommodate an extra two persons. The open plan living area extends into a fully equipped kitchen. Outdoors, is the swimming pool, with large child space. Surrounding it are built-in benches and plenty of lounge chairs, sun umbrellas and sunbeds. Ramp access is available to the first (ground) floor.

Bedrooms
The ground floor of Baan Yai villa, which is slightly raised from ground level, has two double bedrooms with king-size beds. The bedrooms have TV, safe and a private bathroom. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with two single beds with TV. The upstairs part of the villa houses two larger bedrooms with two double beds. Apart from TV, they also have a small sofa with coffee table. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Another outside bathroom is open air for a more natural ambience and has hot shower and sink.
