Magical Place

This property is such a peaceful and magical place. It is a place you can reflect and meditate. The staff are very friendly and try everything they can to please. The house consisted of several separated cottages/villas for different bedrooms. This offers privacy for all the guests. The semi outdoor bathrooms are amazingly designed and decorated. The pool is also amazing. Gardens are beautiful. I did not want to leave once I stepped into this property. Our friends are also extremely happy there. I will come back in the future just to experience it again.

Perfect peace near Ubud

My girlfriends and I had a relaxing week staying at the Villa Umah Shanti where we were looked after and pampered by the lovely staff. The well appointed villa complex is over four levels and is nestled in the lush hills near Ubud. It is a peaceful place to recharge, laze about the stunning pool, explore the nearby villages or just sit and take in the breathtaking views. We had a blissful stay in well appointed surrounds with daily Yoga and massages. Simply delightful. Due to the steep stairs and open balcony though, not for little children. Thanks to the staff at the villa for making our stay so special.

Heavenly place to stay

We had 3 nights at Umah Shanti Villa, an incredibly beautiful villa in an exquisitely peaceful location north of Ubud. We each loved our rooms, each positioned in different locations around the property, each with different outlooks. The view from the lounge out across the canyon and the jungle was so very special, a view you could never tire off. After heavy rains (we were lucky and had only one night of rain) the sound of the river down in the ravine can be heard louder than normal, most of time a distant sound. My 7yr old loves the swimming pool, correction, we all did. Such a prefect spot for a swim at any time of day or night. The gardens were perfectly groomed and filled with beautiful plants and flowers... amazingly insect and birdlife, including fish and frogs in the ponds. A few stairs to contend to which so not brilliant for those who struggle with multiple sets of steps. Mum coped though. Breakfasts were exquisite, and dining there for any meal was made a very special occasion because of the incredibly respectful, helpful, kind staff who quietly were there to help when needed and disappear quietly away whenever we wanted privacy. Their cooking was fantastic too. and they were never concerned by us all wanting different meals from their menu. We found it hard at first disciplining ourselves to plan out meals ahead so the team could buy in the food fresh, but this was hardly a chore, we got used to it very quickly. Rana, the manager made our time there all the more special because he opened up his home for a visit, it was a privilege to meet your new 5-day old daughter and your family Rana, thank you!

This is the place to stay in Ubud!

What an awesome place to come and relax in Ubud. Living and working in Jakarta this was a much needed refresher. Tranquility at it's best. The management and team that provided our service was top notch! I would recommend to anybody wanting to relax with nature and use for a jumping off place to explore Ubud! Worth every penny spent and will be back again. Thanks Ranayasa....you made this trip like visiting an old friend! Thanks for the hospitality.

Absolutely breathtaking location, great service

The villa is in the middle of incredible forested areas and from the living room you get an uninterrupted view of deep green that is just beautiful. The rooms are well equipped and furnished, and our stay was more than comfortable. The team of staff were very friendly and put in much effort into the daily homecooked meals. The location of the villa is also perfect for how close it is to town, or any other sites (temples) of interest. Roads were pleasant and beautiful, passing vast rice fields. We had a wonderful time! :-)

Amazing staff in a very tranquil villa

Stayed for two nights with my partner and 4 friends. We arrived to a fully cooked dinner at midnight. The rooms are well appointed and lovely The jungle view is amazing and the staff are polite, helpful and very sweet. The only very small con is that our bed was VERY hard!

We were AMAZED!!! Wow

This is by far the nicest villa I have stayed at in Ubud. You are in the middle of a tropical forest with the sound of the river and it is so relaxed. Just what I needed. Kitchen staff and Rana were all soooo helpful and nice this is what I call heaven on earth.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation charges will be applicable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing:

30 days or more before arrival date:
* Deposit forfeited - but credited for 9 months from the date of the cancellation confirmation by the management company. The credit can be used by the client or anyone on their behalf for a reservation for the same villa and during any period.

Within 30 days of arrival date:
* All rental payments are forfeited.
* The above cancellation charges also apply if the management company cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply.
* Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of the management company.
* Early departure penalty will be subject to negotiation with the management company.

Shall the party wish to change villa on arrival, a minimum 3 days notice is required or will be charged as a cancellation fee. Any differences in published rates between the villas are also applicable and will be charged to the Guests. Shall the alternative villa be cheaper, no refund will be made.

Payment Terms

* To guarantee this booking in the first instance, you will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total rental due or 50% for Christmas and New Year period.

Balance payment
* Full balance is due at least 30 days prior to arrival

Last minute reservation
* In case of reservation within 30 days of arrival, full payment may be requested at once before the arrival date

Kindly inform upon confirmation of your reservation, which form of payment would be preferred.
* Payments may be made by Telegraphic Transfer to our company bank account or through an online payment gateway with your credit card (visa or master card).
* If payment by credit card is preferred this will incur a 3.9% admin fee.
