Perfect wedding anniversary stay

Gusti and the staff were all excellent and made us feel very special. We stayed at Anandita for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration and the special dinner, the decorations and the music were superb giving my wife and I an evening to remember. The volleyball matches were memorable and the whole week was an experience we will not forget.

Depends on what you are looking for.

This is very nice. Tranquil, clean, serene. However you are very isolated and totally at the mercy of the staff. You can't walk anywhere, and unless you prebook it takes two hours for the villa car to arrive; then it only takes 6 passengers in a villa that sleeps 8. The cooks are very limited in their capacity, and don't ask them to mix a drink. If you're looking for isolation this is nice, but if you want to go places, then this is too far from everything and the transport is very restricted. Also they put all sorts of food on the bill that you did not order...watch for that.

Truely paradise

Excellence in all expect. Best villa so far. The staff is very friendly we even visited the gardener 's home. Villa manager Agusti is very good. We had a memorable bbq dinner by the beach complete with fireworks on the last night. Really value for money.

Island paradise.

Fantastic stay in beautiful island paradise.Staff will meet your every need. Gusti villa manager at hand to entertain will even take you out on day excursions have your own private tour guide at no extra cost ! Ideal for celebrations my birthday spent at villa a wonderful celebration with so many surprises arranged by staff! From the cake ,the singing,flowers in my room and table and the crown fit for a queen and to top it off fireworks!! Food options good, catering for Asian and Western dishes and children's menu for those fussy eaters! Gusti very informative re: billing costs no discrepancies with bill everything written and recorded precisely.. Location absolute paradise pool area huge with 26m pool or the beautiful Suri beach at your front door to snorkel or kayak a most relaxing quiet island paradise!

Wonderful Villa, amazing location, sensational Team

Villa Anandita is a perfect blend of location, comfort, local culture and relaxation. Having stayed in a few villas in Bali, Lombok is a different experience. Anandita is tucked away on the side of a village and not far from Tandung. We spent 2 weeks as an extended family and the experience we had was fantastic. The staff worked tirelessly to make the 50th Wedding Anniversary we were celebrating an experience we will never forget. Every day there were new surprises - flowers, decorations, dinners in the graden, on the beach etc. The Villa has 4 separate bales, you could easily get 2 adults and up to 2 young children in each. They have a perfect balance of comfort, natural materials and space. The pool is a huge expanse of water with different areas to enjoy. The garden is enourmous and flows down to the beach with a reef about 40 metres away. The garden was the venue for a great Volley Ball competition - Lombok vs. the World. Playing the staff at Volley Ball was a highlight. The fun, friendship and laughter was great. There is a great deal to do in Lombok - Diving, climb the Volcano, visit villages, waterfalls, cycle through the padi fields. The Village is 2 hrs from the International Airport so an option is a 2 hr. boat from Bali, worth a thought. We loved the place and Gusti, Villa Manager, is the lifeblood and his staff, 17 of them, work in great balance to deliver a perfect experience. If you are looking for a relaxing, interesting, diverse place to go Villa Anandita is a great choice.We will be back

Location

Villa Anandita is located at Sira (also spelt Sire), a spur of land bordered by a white ribbon of beach with magnificent coastline views. Next door to the villa is the Lombok Golf Kosaido Country Club, an 18-hole championship course, which is open to the public. On the other side (five minutes' walk along the beach) is Hotel Tugu Lombok, a funky-fantastic, atmospheric living museum of extraordinary Indonesian antiques, with a restaurant and bar. Tanjung (4km) is an attractive Sasak market village with stalls overflowing with local produce; this is also home to The Oberoi Lombok Hotel, complete with a jetty- should you wish to arrive by boat, and a gourmet restaurant. A day trip to the Gili islands is recommended either from Bangsal on the local ferry (be prepared for some hustling from the beach sellers) or via private boat charter, which the villa staff will happily organize.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

Payment:
When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to the manager within 5 working days of availability confirmation. The following deposit payment must be received by the manager.

For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request - a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable.

For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request - the total rental amount is payable as a deposit.

If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, the manager reserves the right to void the Guest's booking request.

Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.

All payments must be made in US Dollars, unless otherwise agreed with the manager, and must be made in accordance with the manager's payment instructions as set out in the Guest's booking confirmation.

If payments are not made on or before the due dates as required herein, the Owner or the Owner's Representative may cancel the booking, in which case this Rental Contract will be thereby terminated without any further notice required. Cancellation charges may apply as detailed below.

Security Deposit:
A security deposit may be payable directly to the Owner or Owner's Representative immediately upon arrival at the Property. However the Owner has the right to impose different requirements on a case by case basis. Access to the Property may be refused if security deposit is not paid in full. When the security deposit is required to be paid in cash, or when a non-standard security deposit applies, the manager will inform the Guest in advance of the amount payable and any other conditions.

The security deposit will normally be refunded at the end of the rental period, after deducting: all additional expenses incurred on the Guest's behalf (e.g. additional charges for goods, services and staff which have not been directly paid by the Guest, and telephone and internet charges, if applicable) and the cost of replacement or repair for any loss or damage to the Property or its surrounds or contents caused during the Rental Period. If this cost cannot be reasonably determined prior to the Guest's departure, the Owner or the Owner's Representative is entitled to withhold a reasonable estimate from the Guest's security deposit, and will return any balance to the Guest as soon as possible after the actual cost has been determined.

Description

Ultimate white sand beachfront villa

Spectacular Villa Anandita rests within a huge coconut grove bordering the postcard-perfect, white-sand Sira Beach on the island of Lombok Bali's beautiful, but slightly shy, next-door neighbour. With acres of space and four delightful bedroom pavilions, Villa Anandita is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a get-away-from-it-all holiday in a gorgeous, tropical island location while being pampered by a dedicated team of experienced staff. Outdoor activities abound, from swimming in the 26m free-form pool to volleyball on the lawn, snorkelling, sea kayaking and bike rides through traditional Villages, to a round of golf on the adjacent and stunningly situated 18-hole championship course.

Anandita means bringer of happiness in the ancient Sanskrit language, and happiness is exactly what the European owners hope guests will discover when they stay at their much-loved four-bedroom beachside haven on Lombok's north-west coast.

A series of single-storey living and sleeping pavilions leisurely spread throughout an enormous 1.5 hectares of lush green lawns planted with towering coconut palms make up this delicious tropical retreat. Each of the four ensuite bedrooms is housed in its own private pavilion in the gardens; king-size beds and convertible daybeds making these rooms very family-friendly. Kids (and adults too) will be spoiled for choice when it comes to planning their days: will it be a swim in the spectacular, 26m pool, complete with waterfall and jacuzzi, or beachcombing and kayaking on beautiful Sira beach, or an energetic game of soccer or volleyball in Villa Anandita's gorgeous gardens? Those seeking more languid pursuits can plug in their iPods and chill out to some favourite tunes, watch a movie on the large-screen satellite-channel TV/DVD player, or socialise over a game of billiards in the living pavilion.

As well as taking care of the villa itself, a team of friendly, thoughtful staff will happily entertain guests of all ages, creating coconut leaf toys and decorations with the children, making up numbers for volleyball games or turning tour guide for those who would like to explore further a field - made even easier courtesy of the services of a car and driver included in the villa rate. The kitchen is cleverly divided up for either guest or staff use and the villa cook is skilled at preparing a wide range of delicious local and international dishes - anything from formal dinners in the dining pavilion, to a romantic supper beside the beach, to a casual poolside barbecue.

Villa Anandita is approached by a private driveway, which leads into a secure parking area. A grand porte cochere, bordered by a lily pond, heralds the entrance to the villa's main pavilion via a pair of impressive wooden doors. From here, a colonnaded walkway sheltered by a glass-roofed pergola leads over the lily pond to the kitchen and the dining pavilion. The four standalone sleeping pavilions are positioned in the garden, well away from the main pavilion.

The expansive, fan-cooled living room at Villa Anandita has a high roof and presents three distinct, yet integrated areas. The central section is distinguished with a Palimanan frieze featuring carvings of birds, frogs, dragonflies, leaves and flowers, and flanking a stone floor that extends directly onto the pool deck through wide, folding glass doors. This area is furnished with two comfortable sofas strewn with playfully-coloured scatter cushions, a chair and a rustic coffee table.

The villa has a multi-tiered pool deck crafted in both Palimanan stone and timber boards. Here, three tall coconut trees and two frangipani trees offer dappled shade. The main level is furnished with two wooden tables and chairs, each offering a place for casual dining or socialising. An elevated timber deck is furnished with two sunbeds and an umbrella for daytime lounging, plus a table and chairs for a romantic candlelit dinner. Meanwhile, four wide stone steps lead down to another timber deck at pool level, offering more sunbeds and umbrellas. The free-form swimming pool is evocative of a jungle glade with a whirlpool hidden within a circular section. Like a small lagoon, the water wends its way through the garden, bordered by flowering shrubs and trees, river boulders and bushy palms.

The huge manicured lawn stretches all the way down to the beach, a volleyball court is positioned between the palm trees, and a line of sunbeds and umbrellas rest beside the white-sand beach. Elevated just above the beach is a large bale (relaxation pavilion), complete with a telephone for summoning refreshments. This is a great spot for a massage and perfect for contemplating Lombok's mysterious Mount Rinjani and watching the sunset over Bali's Mount Agung. There is also a table here for casual lunches or romantic dinners. The beach is lapped by clear waters, shallow and safe for swimming.
