Stunning and classy retreat

What a privilege to have stayed here! The photo gallery (whilst tempting) fails to do justice to the understated opulence of the property. The staff are attentive but discrete, the facilities 5* and the only negative was having to leave when we left Phuket. Don't miss out!

Beautiful luxury villa

What a beautiful and luxurious villa with an amazing beach just on your door step. The service was excellent and we couldnt ask for more. Easy to get to and lots of good restaurants and night life nearby. The view from the infinity pool is exquisite. Easily the nicest place I have stayed in Thailand.

Amazing Holiday Villa

Stayed here recently for 1 week with the family. Amazing villa with everything you need for a great holiday. Noi who works there is brilliant and couldn't be more helpful. 6 of us stayed in total but as the villa is so spacious you still get your privacy. No hotel could beat the standard and amenities of this villa so will definitely be booking here again!

Amazing villa

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a 2 week holiday and it finished it off perfectly. The whole villa was very clean and the pool was not full of chlorine like you get in bigger hotels, almost felt like I could drink it! The house keeper Noi was very helpful and always smiling. Would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it.

Nice Property, Amazing Service, Not Great for Young Family

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The staff could not have been more attentive and the food was excellent. The housekeeping staff was great and they readily cleaned the rooms, stocked the bathrooms full of towels, did our laundry, and remembered tiny details like a warm glass of water by my bed in the evenings. That said, I do want to provide some constructive feedback regarding the villa that might not be readily apparent from their website. First, the property did not have a nice view. I probably should have asked what the view was like before renting it. While you could see the water in the far distance, you mostly saw construction sites and concrete buildings which is not the most idyllic. Second, the house is not really that suitable for families with young children. The pool, while lovely in the photos, failed to show the 3 storey drop that was easily accessible to children. We are always cautious around pools anyway, but this was seriously concerning. Plus, the rafts kept going over the edge of the pool which necessitated an adult to climb over the narrow ledge to keep retrieving the toys. It was dangerous for the adults as well. Also the layout of the bedrooms meant that one child was quite far away from my husband and me. One night, my son had a stomach ache and had to get his sister to get us because we couldn't hear him. Thirdly, I wish I had known about all the mosquitos. We would wake up covered in bites and the baby had a very severe reaction to them. Obviously, this is no ones fault, but we would have taken this factor into consideration when thinking about how we wanted to spend our holiday (20% of which was constantly swatting mosquitos and then trying to fumigate the bedrooms before bedtime). Lastly, I do want to mention the house manager, Prang, and her hiring of the driver. At the beginning of the week, we were paying the driver 2500 baht per day for three 5-7 minute rides down to the beach. One night my husband and I went to Patong beach for dinner and paid 500 baht for the 35 minute journey from a taxi we hired ourselves. When I asked the manager in the morning about why it cost so much more for us to get to the beach, she said that longer rides were actually cheaper and then reduced the price to 300 baht per trip which ended up costing us 900 baht per day. At the end of the day, it wasn't a big sum of money but it just felt a little bit like she was taking advantage of the situation, when I would have expected her to act in our best interest. Also, we probably had a bit higher expectation of the house manager as the website suggested she could be a "concierge". When asked regarding beaches or restaurants, she was not entirely helpful. She did, however, hire us an excellent personal trainer and massage therapist. All in all, we had a nice time. I would be hesitant to recommend this villa to families with young children but we loved Surin beach and we liked the idea of renting a villa which gave us our own space.

Best holiday ever - didn't want to leave!

The most beautiful villa - the owners have thought of everything. the villa was incredibly comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed. Noi the housekeeper looked after us beautifully - she was there when we needed her but gave us plenty of privacy the rest of the time. We didn't want to leave and would definitely love to go again. All other trips are going to pale in comparison now!!

Couldn't recommend it more highly -so relaxed!

I promised myself I would write a short review just to say how wonderful our visit to Phuket was, made so largely due to the setting and the staff at Baan Surin Sawan. This villa is maintained to perfection. The staff, head by Pat, were always incredibly polite, curious and helpful. They even spent time playing games with our children to our delight. During our stay, we did not lift a finger - not to cook, wash, clean, etc. I don't remember ever feeling quite so relaxed and well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment within 5 working days of availability confirmation. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, the villa reserves the right to void the Guest's booking request.

- For rentals beginning more than 75 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable.
- For rentals beginning 75 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit.
- Where a 20% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 80% balance not less than 75 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Kindly inform upon confirmation of your reservation, which form of payment would be preferred.
* Payments may be made by Telegraphic Transfer to our company bank account or through an online payment gateway with your credit card (visa,master card or Amex).
* If payment by credit card is preferred this will incur a 3.9% admin fee.

An unforgettable villa escape

Baan Surin Sawan villa enjoys an enviable hillside location in the Baan Thai Surin Hill private estate, overlooking some of Phuket's most stunning west-coast beaches. The villa blends an exotic tropical setting with contemporary Thai design, providing the perfect venue for an unforgettable holiday. The pitched-roof pavilions house three spacious bedroom suites, and one bedroom with adjoining shower room, an inviting living room, entertainment room, modern kitchen, comfortable dining room, and outdoors, a 10-metre pool. The villa is staffed with a full-time Thai chef, two maids and a villa (concierge) manager who will be pleased to assist with guests' holiday.

The master bedroom of Baan Surin Sawan enjoys a prime sea-view position which is greatly enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that overlook the pool. The room features a four-poster bed and has an en-suite bathroom with sunken terrazzo jacuzzi bathtub, rain shower, earth-toned ceramic basins and a private garden area. One of the guest bedrooms, located behind the master-suite, enjoys tranquil garden view. The adjoining bathroom (not ensuite) has a slate-tiled shower. Two more guest bedrooms are located downstairs. Both are equipped with king-sized beds, comfortable seating areas and private balconies, and have ensuite bathrooms.

The stylish living area of the Baan Surin Sawan villa is decorated with works of art and is furnished with a comfortable sofa. The area opens on to the pool terrace and is equipped with state-of-the-art surround-sound entertainment system, which is also connected to outdoor speakers along the eaves. The adjoining dining room is furnished with a table for 10 guests. Also located here is the warm, welcoming kitchen fitted with all modern appliances. The large entertainment room downstairs features a 42-inch flat-screen TV and comfortable sofas two of which convert into beds if extra sleeping space is needed. Outdoors, the main highlight is the 10-metre infinity pool and sea-view terrace with a sundeck furnished with four sunbeds. A stone path leads from the pool terrace to a shady garden area and another fan-cooled sala with a dining table for six and barbecue.
