Beach paradise. Top notch hospitality.

We had an amazing experience at Sudath’s place. The property is beautiful and the hospitality is unmatched! Absolutely loved how we had the entire beach to ourselves. That’s the highlight of Sudath’s place. The breakfast was brilliant and the helping was extremely generous. Would love to come back with friends and family!

Perfect beach villa

The location is amazing - the beach is a few steps away and it felt like we had it to ourselves. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a few dinners made for us in the evenings and they were delicious, fresh and local Sri Lankan dishes. We had a guy climb a palm tree and cut down some coconuts for us to try! Its a great location to base yourself in and then explore Sri Lanka at your leisure. Sudath provided us with excellent advice and he is very knowledgable. The property itself is perfect. Just what we needed to relax. Even the WiFi was good. The cleaning service was brilliant. They even washed our clothes! Thank you for a fantastic experience. One we will treasure for a long time. We hope to be back one day.

Paradise found!

You will absolutely fall in love with Sri Lanka and your little slice of paradise at the Blue Parrot. The home is well taken care of and looks exactly like it does in the photos. The beach is right outside your front door so you'll have easy access to the beautiful Indian Ocean. Suddath, the owner, is helpful with arranging things that you need (vans, tuk-tuks, etc...) and is knowledgeable of what the best things to do in the area would be. Furthermore, you will enjoy getting to know Ms. Prianka who prepares delicious meals for you. Her breakfasts and dinners are the best that we had in Sri Lanka and she also helps with laundry, tuk-tuks, and even finding help when we had a medical emergency. Along with Ms. Prianka, you'll also enjoy geeting to know Kasum who keeps the yard tidy and monitors the comings and goings nearby. We loved our stay in Sri Lanka and are already talking about going back again!

Blue Parrot Beach House

Kelly and I stayed at Blue Parrot for our first trip from the United States to Sri Lanka. The house is in perfect condition and has an amazing view! All the pictures shown online are current and accurate. The staff at Blue Parrot cooked amazing meals. Which made lazy nights for us easy if we didn't want to cook or go out. One night the cooking staff got some muscles from the local fisherman and made a delicious dish. The beach is clean and the water is perfect for swimming. Not knowing the area was never a problem. Blue Parrot staff checked in with us daily to make sure we didn't need anything or any help planning day trips. We also had the option of having our room cleaned daily by staff if we wanted to. Little Paradise

We stayed here for 10 nights in February and we had a great experience in this little paradise. The house has a perfect position right on the beach a few meters from the ocean. The feeling is you're on a private wild beach. A friendly staff led by Sudath, who took care that everything we wanted to happen (transportation services, take us to various destinations: safari, train trip, whales, Hikkaduwa , Gale..etc). Great food and cleaning services. We will be back and I would highly recommend!

"A hidden gem"

This was the last stop on our two week holiday in Sri Lanka and we definitely saved the best till last. Sudath is a genuine "Mr Fixit" and had helped us earlier in our holiday by arranging transport services to pick us up from the airport and take us to various destinations all along the west and south coast. They say pictures never lie and whilst that may be true in theory, they can sometimes be taken in such a way as to hide some less desirable aspects. The pictures of this villa, the beach and the wonderful food are all true reflections and the location is stunning. There were 4 of us in our family group - mum, dad and two adult children and the layout of the villa was ideal. The staff were friendly and the night housekeeper was a true gentleman. Sudath made his daily visit and was always willing to help with any questions we had. This is a true paradise retreat and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for making the last few days of our holiday truly memorable. We will be back!

Stunning!

We've stayed for 11 nights in December with our family and absolutely loved it! The villa is beautiful and equipped with everything you need, in a stunning location! From the terrace & garden it's just a few steps into the ocean with its ~1.5 km 'private' beach. Occasionally we've met local families or fishermen & a handful other tourists staying at one of the few beach houses - otherwise this stretch of fine sandy beach is completely quiet and private! Sudath & his staff are so friendly and welcoming, they helped us with all our wishes and needs beyond expectations. We especially enjoyed the home-cooked dinners on our terrace, or some fresh fruit juices & coconuts while relaxing under the trees! There are also a lot of options for day trips & tours and Sudath helped us with recommendations & arrangements! For example, the tourist town Hikkaduwa with its beach-bars & restaurants is just a few km down the road for a change of scenery and also trips to Galle or Mirissa are no problem. In our case, we enjoyed this little spot of paradise so much that we almost didn't want to go anywhere else! I'd return anytime for this tranquil perfect holiday spot! The pick-up & return service to the airport is available and makes it so easy to get here in just ~2 hours. Hope to be back soon!

Paradise

We had a wonderful time in this little Paradise. Perfect house, clean,Nice view to the ocean,privéd and a friendly staf. Sudath come every day and could answer All our questions so it feel perfect. If you looking for a paradijs this is the place!!!! All much thanks for all your help and kindles!

Well done. Great place to stay.

My family and I stayed here some time ago. I never got around to writing a review about this place. From pick up the airport right to the end of our vacation all was fantastic. The decor in the bungalow is very tasteful. It has two bedrooms with AC. Both bedrooms adjoin to the bathroom. The terrace just as you walk out the main entrance is an excellent place to sit in the evening and watch the sun set. Listen to the ocean, talk, play board games, read. It has great WiFi and the added benefit if you have a mobile with a local number...when our credit ran down; a quick message to Sudath and we could call again within minutes. The food. We had breakfast each morning. Bread. Eggs (fried or scrambled) lots of fruit bananas, pineapple and melon. Toast. Coffee and tea. This was served around 8.30 to 9am. We also had dinner in the evening. Mostly fish or chicken curry with rice. The price for dinner was very reasonable. The food was always hot to warm. Never ever cold. The on site security and staff were polite and couteous. So what makes this place work so well? The price is very reasonable for the great service you get. For example on a full moon day you are informed the night before that if you want chicken or meat you should make the order because on full moon day many places don't sell meat. Secondly, it's how it's all presented and completed right down to the cleaning of the house. You never feel imposed upon. I stayed in one other place but in comparison I would not hesitate to book here again. It's great for a family 2 kids. Also what I liked a lot was the house book. In the house book you can find information about transport costs, ordering dinner etc. Everything is clearly presented. What else can I say? Communication with Sudath was very easy, by email and whatsapp. In addition, Manju (tuk tuk driver). With local phone from Sudath we could explore Galle and many other places and then just call Manju and he would pick us up. For sure we always told Manju approx time and we would call him 30 or 40mins before we planned to leave. Would I return? Absolutely. A really great getaway place from mainland Europe. Circa 12 hrs door to door via Dubai or Istanbul.

Cancel up to 7 days before check in and get a 50% refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable. Service fees are refunded when cancellation happens before check in and within 48 hours of booking.

Payment Terms

A downpayment of 50% has to be made for each reservation. The remaining 50% is due to be paid one month prior to arrival.

2 bedroom villa right on the beach

The town of Ambalangoda in the Galle district in Sri Lanka is known for the renowned ‘Devil’ mask dances and the views of the Indian Ocean. Although, the place sees lesser tourists visiting its shores, if it is a quiet and calming holiday you are looking forward to then Nil Villa is the perfect spot. Besides a few fishermen and children, you have yourself and your loved ones to enjoy with. Take your time and relax in the tranquility afforded by this town, as you relish the villa’s rustic and authentic Sri Lankan charm and who knows, you might be lucky enough to witness an actual mask dance!

Two, well-furnished and air-conditioned bedrooms are available to guests at the villa. The master bedroom is furnished with a canopied double bed, featuring sheer, white drapes that are perfect for a good night’s sleep. The second bedroom is furnished with two beds complete with mosquito nets. There are writing desks in each of the bedrooms, in case you wish to tidy up some work. A bathroom that is fully-equipped with amenities, and sports a similar rustic design is adjoined to both the bedrooms. It is equipped to provide solar hot water as an environmentally friendly initiative. Nil Villa offers guests the chance to have the entire beach to themselves, as the villa extends out to its sandy shores in the most glorious way. You simply have to walk down to the sandy coast and enjoy endless views of the Indian Ocean, as the tide rides high or low depending on season, swim to your heart’s content, sunbathe and lounge on your beach towels without any disturbances. With swaying coconut palm trees fringing the periphery of the villa, and lush greenery on the gardens, this is a restful and relaxing spot for anyone to enjoy a holiday with friends and family.

With a rustic aesthetic in its interiors and quarters, the villa prides itself in giving you a holiday home that celebrates the heritage of Sri Lanka within its walls. There are polished cement dividers in the living area, for an antique ambiance, wooden ceiling, and whitewashed walls. The black, wooden doorway leads to the terrace which has been furnished with a dining area for four, overlooking the stunning panorama encompassing the ocean and the vast skies. The kitchen is an open-concept and is fitted with all the amenities and modern appliances with a kettle, toaster, stove etc.
