Passing over the main Aluthgama/Bentota Bridge, keep going till you reach the Bentota Circular Road/ Yathramulla Road on your left. Taru Villas - River Cottage is at 111, Bentota Circular Road (also Yathramulla Road) approx. a kilometer down this road, on your left.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 30 days of arrival will result in 100% cancellation fee. During peak period (20th December till 15th January; both days inclusive): Cancellation within 60 days of arrival will result in 100% cancellation fee. All other cancellation will only incur the 50% non refundable deposit.
Payment Terms
The booking is confirmed upon receipt of 50% refundable deposit and the balance to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. For reservations made between 20th December and 15th January (both days inclusive), a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and the balance to be paid 60 days prior to arrival.

Bedrooms
The two bedrooms of Taru villas – River Cottage can comfortably sleep four guests. While bedroom one is fitted with a king-sized bed, the second includes a double bed. Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished, have air-conditioners and ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms with all necessary amenities including hair dryer and bathrobe. Overlooking the Bentota River, the bedrooms open out into verandas overlooking the garden and the river.
Living areas
The open-plan living areas of Taru villas – River Cottage provide the best of indoor and outdoor living. The high-ceilinged living room is comfortably fitted with plush sofas and glass windows and doors, opening onto the garden and the river beyond. The well-equipped kitchen extends into the dining area. Outdoors, the garden borders the river and is fitted with sundecks to relax, soak up the tranquillity, enjoy the sight of the green train of palms and mangroves that sweep behind the water during the day, and the mesmerizing sunsets over the river in the evenings.
